Jensen Hande, Phodographer, is an advertising and commercial photographer with more than ten years of experience behind the lens. His work has taken him around the world - to Australia, Alaska and the Caribbean - for clients such as Lexus, HBO Pictures, CSX Transportation, Southern Ford and Anheuser-Busch. His work has appeared in numerous print campaigns and magazines across the nation and as a result of his commitment to perfection has garnered him a number of awards.

"I find it challenging..." Photographing dogs has been a personal project for Jensen over the years. He first began the project on a lark while on a trip to New York City. Walking through the Big Apple with a friend's dog, Jensen realized that the fur-person who was leading him around had as much vitality and character as many of the people he worked with on a daily basis. Carefully aiming his camera at the young hound, he quickly found that he had an eye for capturing the inner-nature of man's best friend. What started by chance now became a part of his ever-increasing personal portfolio. With the encouragement of close friends and colleagues, he decided that he would share that commitment with those dog lovers in his community by creating a new service to complement his already flourishing business. Thus was born the Art of Phodography - the process of creating unique images of man's best friend.

"Just as every person is unique, every dog is too. I find it challenging to find out who the dog is and capturing that on film. In fact, I've begun looking at dogs as if they are people, and that's what makes this so cool - getting to know them."
